Marine Power Systems conducted surveys of a number of diesel engines in use throughout the Sanford Salmon farms in the remote waters of Stewart Island.

During the survey, 13 engines were inspected using borescopic technology to access cylinders and manifolds without major disassembly. The information obtained was used to develop maintenance schedules and upkeep plans for the future maintenance of this important plant.
